Details of funeral and commemoration of WWRA’s Aviation specialist and Dementia Awareness campaigner Michael George Sullivan
one of Windsor finest
Michael (Mike) George Sullivan, former RAF pilot and PanAm executive, died peacefully at Wexham Park Hospital on the morning of 7 May 2018 after a short illness.
Michael lived in West Windsor for over 50 years and was a great supporter of the local community throughout that time, making a major contribution to the 1998 Local Plan and using his considerable knowledge of aviation matters to allow the Association to make meaningful and constructive comments on the many issues that have come before us over the years.
Since the death of his wife, Patricia, he has been a tireless dementia awareness campaigner.
Mike was born on 23 May 1933 and would have been 85 this year.
Mike is greatly missed by many and is regarded as one of Windsor’s finest.
A service to commemorate his life will be led by Rev Louise Brown, in one of her last duties, at All Saints church, Dedworth at 1:30pm on 23 May 2018, followed by a private burial.
