The West Windsor Residents Association (WWRA) hosted an Open Evening on the Windsor Neighbourhood Plan at All Saints Church, Dedworth on Monday 7 July.
Over 40 residents and local businesses attended the event to find out how the Windsor Neighbourhood Plan will influence and shape planning decisions in Windsor for the next 15 years.
There were displays on a range of areas including Open Spaces, Housing and Heritage, Business and Transport, and Planning Aid England held a series of seminars to teach residents more about the Planning process.
Wisdom Da Costa, WWRA Chairman said “The evening was a great success, and it was good to see such a wide cross section of the local community attending the event including residents, and businesspeople. Everyone found the event enlightening, and expressed support for what the WNP group are doing for them. Visitors will be completing our on-line survey to help influence future planning decisions in Windsor. “
“I would encourage all your readers to have their say, and complete the survey at http://surveymonkey.com/s/F7892SK – the more residents and local businesses who complete it the better. Kids can access the survey using the QR code below.”
The WWRA also urge people to join future meetings of the Windsor Neighbourhood Pan group.
Together let’s make Windsor a better place for all, young and old, rich and poor.”
